About this collection

University Archives and Special Collections in the Joseph P. Healey Library at UMass Boston occasionally collaborates with community partners to collect materials related to a particular topic, region, or event. Images and stories are often contributed by individuals and described in their own voice. Materials from these digitization-focused events are available in this Community-Based Collecting Projects area of our Open Archives Digital Collections site.
